 Mustang Trotters
CFES Walking/Running Club
Objective: To develop a healthy lifestyle and have fun!
Dates: Meets on Tuesday Oct. 4, Oct. 11, Oct. 18, Oct. 25, Nov. 1, Nov. 15
Time: After school until 3:30 pm
Eligibility: Trotters is open to students in grades 3, 4, & 5. Interested parents and CFES faculty are also welcome to join.
Recommended Attire: Appropriate dress for outdoor walking and jogging.
Incentives: Golden Horseshoe Award, Fitness Feet, and T-shirt
Cost: $20.00, cash or check made out to CFES due at sign-up
*Please complete the permission slip below and return it to Coach Little by Friday, September 30th.

Fun Times in PE!

Recently in PE..... In K-2 we have been learning about personal space and boundaries.  The students always love playing Spaceship Tag, which helps them practice keeping personal space while moving around the gym. In 3-5 we have been learning about teamwork, communication, and cooperation.  It is important to be able to work well with others and encourage each other while working toward a goal.  The students had a blast working together playing Foam Ball Passover.  Each team had to pass the ball using only their feet and move the ball from one end line to the other.  If the ball is dropped at any time, the team has to go back and start over.

Spaceship Tag & Teamwork!

Recently in PE.... In K-2 we have been learning about personal space and boundaries.  The students always love playing Spaceship Tag, which helps them practice keeping personal space while moving around the gym. In 3-5 we have been learning about teamwork, communication, and cooperation.  It is important to be able to work well with others and encourage each other while working toward a goal.  The students had a blast working together playing Foam Ball Passover.  Each team had to pass the ball using only their feet and move the ball from one end line to the other.  If the ball is dropped at any time, the team has to go back and start over. WELCOME BACK!

I am excited for the start of a new school year!  It's fun to see familiar faces and I look forward to meeting our new students. 2017-2018 is going to be a great year!  In PE, we learn about the importance of exercise and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. We always have a great time in PE playing games and learning new skills.    A few things to know about PE: PE Schedule  - 2017-2018 Activity Schedule              * Make sure to click on the correct grade level tab at the bottom Dress Code  - tennis shoes and comfortable clothes to move around; girls should wear shorts under skirts and dresses. The following shoes are NOT good for PE: crocs, flip flops, high heels, boots, sandals.
