Basketball

We have been learning about and practicing basketball skills in PE.

DRIBBLING cues:
bend the knees,
use finger pads
dribble the ball on the side of your body
 keep ball at waist level or lower
keep head up
opposite foot forward
opposite arm up to protect the ball

PASSING cues:
ball at the chest
step forward and extend arms
thumbs point down
palms turn out; away from each other

SHOOTING cues:
B - bend the knees
E - elbows in
E - extend arm
F - follow through and flick the wrist
