Gymnastics & Climbing Wall

Recently in PE....

We have been learning about and practicing gymnastics skills. Gymnasts have strong muscles and a strong core. It is important to keep our muscles tight when doing gymnastic skills. We discussed and practiced tumbling (rolls on mats) and balancing skills in grades K-5.

We've also been working on our climbing wall skills this week. Climbing wall helps build strong muscles, improves balance and flexibility, and increases self-confidence.
